Your 2027 callerAndy Allemao
Andy is returning to Knothead Jamboree! Based in the San Diego area, he calls and teaches square dancing and takes the microphone at festivals and dance weekends across the country.
He began calling after attending caller school in 2003 and is a staff caller with Blue Star Records. His approach puts smooth dancing, good company, and a shared laugh at the heart of the evening.

Knothead is a square and round dance festival with a tradition dating to 1957. Dancing, learning, and spending time with the dance community have been at the heart of past weekends.
When is the 2027 Jamboree?
Friday, September 3 through Monday, September 6, 2027. The weekend ends on Labor Day. Specific session times will be announced in the program.
What dance levels will be offered?
The 2027 square dance levels, round dance phases, and workshop program are still being planned. We’ll post those details here when they’re confirmed.
